  8. Jeez. I had one of those. It was great, for about half an hour...
  9. Once I got past the shock of the father from My Three Sons as a jerk, it quickly became a favorite. I have no idea how many times I've watched this one. I must say that I've never seen a film with Ray Walston in the cast that wasn't great, even though he never seems to have a big part. I guess if you know enough to hire Walston, you pretty much know what you're doing...
  10. Whoa. I think I remember him from San Francisco. Down in the Tenderloin. He offered to swap me a miniature cake for a cheap bottle of wine...

  17. I remember the thread, but have no idea what it was called.
  18. You'll be glad to hear about the next project, Miles Does Laundry, which contains the classic track "set the motherfucker to hot" and other greats!
  19. It's halfway through February and the ground is still snow-free! This is very odd (at least judging by the two previous winters I've seen here), but I'm not complaining.
  20. Gumby The Blockheads Ian Dury
  21. WTF? They have the luge course (where going off the track isn't completely unheard of) underneath some kind of overpass thing? I assumed when I heard about this that it was some kind of freak accident, but this is absurd. Whoever designed this was a complete idiot!
  22. Hyacinth Bucket Hetty Wainthropp Patricia Routledge
  23. Oh, it was. I remember watching it with my grandmother and both of us laughing, though often at different parts...
  24. That looks kind of funny on a board where so many people consider '60s Blue Note LPs as "modern jazz"...
