  1. City on the Edge of Forever was definitely a high point for the series (and Harlan Ellison, as far as I'm concerned). The 'revitalized color' version that's out now is a bit much to me; it's like watching those early colorized movies of Ted Turner's.
  2. Ernie Shavers Bert Lahr Larry BIrd
  3. Too bad. Though I'd recommend the translator, Ken Liu. At least for his short stories; I haven't read any novels by him.
  4. Damn. All I can think of is that girl in high school, and I can't even remember her name.
  5. I used to think that i had a fear of some insects, but now i think it's just that i am profoundly repulsed by them. Same diff i guess. That's a good point. Also, I don't fear clowns, I just despise them. Disgusting things. Heights are what make me crap my pants.
  6. Frankly, I'll take all three. And throw in insects. Arachnids are cool, though.
  7. He'll never get anywhere in show business with that attitude.
  8. Shelly Winters J. Paul Getty Gary Oldman
  9. Francis Church Virginia O'Hanlan Santa Claus
  10. The Be Sharps The Honeydrippers Sting
  11. Bend Me, Shape Me. Someone mentioned it to me today, and it won't go away. I don't particularly dislike the song, but an hour or so is enough.
  12. Yeah. Belicheck is obviously the type who thinks it's only cheating if you get caught; I see no reason to believe him at this point.
  13. Al Campanis Camper Van Beethoven Kevin Tent
  14. I'm sure the NFL will deal sternly with this situation. I'm guessing a $500 fine and the forfeiture of one rookie card of their choice.
  15. I'll go along with better, no argument at all. But important? I don't see it, if by important you mean influential.
  16. Never offer a squirrel a macadamia nut. You'll be stalked forever.
  17. Yeah. Kind of makes you feel guilty...
  18. Well, if we switch from "typical" to "weekend", then it's grits, bacon, over medium fried eggs and either toast or an english muffin.
  19. You're two posts late...
  20. Tony! Toni! Tone! Marky Mark M.
  21. Pete Best Johnny B. Goode Fair to Midland
  22. Columbus Day was the Martin Luther King Day of it's time. It was a recognition that these filthy disgusting southern Europeans just were not going to take the hint and go away. This is one of those times when I actually miss those silly "upvote" buttons that other sites have.
  23. Tork was the coolest, no matter what anyone thinks.
  24. Peter Gunn The Rifleman Bullitt
  25. Finally caught Humphrey Bogart.
