I think there have been a couple of issues of that. I hope you got the one with the 5 extra tracks -- three alts, two unissued. That's the one I have.

I just bought a copy of Pure Desmond a few weeks ago!

They're just trying to cash in on all the mods people do, I guess.

A collection of Studio Rivbea archives and all the Impulse albums reissued is what I really want to hear. Those two duet albums with Dave Holland should be reissued on CD again too. His big band music is too dense & intense for me! I've really been enjoying the Reunion: Live in New York album. It's been playing in my car all week.

Got my copy. That poster and the unfolding box sure is difficult to handle. I'm not going to try looking anything up while I'm trying to drive the 4x4, even in dry weather. Getting my first listen now.

I dig Ed a lot, have a couple of albums. It's sad that he retired, but that's his option.

I'd like to hear Wayne with Marc Copland. Shorter is getting on in years, I'd like to hear him record more often.

I listened to the NPR streaming version twice and I like what I heard. I'm looking forward to getting a copy of the cd soon.

...and then there's that live Jarrett, Sleeper, from his European group that they put out last year. I tend to think they have a vault full of live material, at least.

I thought it's the Jack DeJohnette Trio, I hope he releases a lot from that group.

The ECM years, '70's to mid '80s are the best! Beautiful recordings. ...and any day now, we'll have another collection of his work with Miles.

I would've expected you to check out the 3 cd Jim Hall Artist Share release. For me, jazz guitar may not get better than this! Someday I will!
