I like it. Many don't, but there are plenty "restrained" Kenton albums that truly suck. This one doesn't, not even somewhat. Cool cover, too.

I love the irony of a Stan Kenton influence translating to extreme quiet..but it seems that Kenton got the hint, at least a little, as much as he could get a hint...,Artistry in Bossa Nova hardly whispers, but it would not be audible at all in the same room as, say, Adventures In Time. No, I did not ask if there was a dance in Brazil called the Bossa Nova. I asked were people dancing to the Bossa Nova in Brazil, and if they were what were they dancing, what dance(s). You can make it simpler by either giving an answer to that question or by simply saying that you don't know.

Not telling any tales out of school here, but people are buying this stuff, ripping it to digital, and then sharing with friends. I heard of one guy who bought the LP just to rip it and then gave the LP away. So Sam is losing money by not offering at least a limited run of CDs as well as their LPs.
