Check the label. If it doesn't say STEREO under the trident, it's probably mono. And of course, the PR vs. PRST prefix. But jackets themselves can occasionally get cronky about that, they used what they had sometimes, and it didn't always line up. Not often, but once in a while.

I think I got what I wanted under the old model (Cecil Taylor w/Bill Barron at Newport, Maynard's band with Wayne at Newport - a KILLER set, btw - , maybe a few other things). They come by the tapes legit. Their royalty payments are sketchy, though, I think that's where they had to pull back from "selling" and pivot to "offering unlimited access". Anyway, the shit is there.

That band is not to be confused with this one: anyway...I get interested in DG LPs that were never issued in America, it's like the stuff on the menu at certain Chinese restaurants where it's in Chinese-only and when you ask what it means, they just say "not for you", not in a mean way, just...not for you. I think it's been established that Dolphy died of complications from unrecognized/untreated diabetes. Coles left early in the tour due to a stomach ulcer (iirc?). Not seeing how any of that falls to/on Mingus.
