  1. I don't notice her reactions.

  3. thus sprach the liliputian! anyone honestly believing this is DISQUALIFIED from voicing any opinion that even rises to the level of bullshit. he doesn't even have giant technique, tho' he's "fine" (doesn't mean i like him). NOR do i understand the goddamn effort somne of ya'll (everyone) puts into finding Winston's moments... why not give Dave Ballou the same chance, Rob Blakeslee, or Paul Smoker. there are how many Jonah Jones sides to dig if black is the color... in this history of jazz tenor, Branford is a solid light-middleweight at best; in the history of jazz as a whole, he doesn't even rank except below some general line of also rans. As far as pop music is concerned.... hah-hah. if Branford is a "giant," what the hell is Ben Webster, or Ike Quebec, or Big Toe Turner, or Bo Diddley, or Wilson Pickett, or George Clinton, or Marley Marl, or RZA? Branford = Brinsley Schwartz... MAYBE. An OK genre dude in a weak time. Wake the fuck up. He's certainly no Joe Tex or Al Green, Percy France or Bobby Bland. they call me C-... L-E-MM-Y. signed, c Need oxygen?
  4. It's probably a combination of those factors (OS, filesystem, different definitions -> (80 * 10^9)/1024^3 = 74.505805969 GB). Attached is the screenshot of an 80 GB hard disk's properties in my system. Total disk space 74.5 GB. Ah, whatever.
  5. No, that's not because of the OS (except for ca. 200 MB).
  6. ApproxNumberOfCDsOnPod = (1024 * 80) / x x...total size (in MB) of your average (runtime) CD encoded at your preferred bitrate. P.S.: Assuming the OS doesn't take away disk space.
  7. Now that I think of it, there's probably no "Nerve" CD out. I saw them in concert a couple of years ago where they played for about three hours (the crowd went nuts). Mayer is damn good - the youtube video doesn't do him justice.
  8. Jojo Mayer's "Nerve". http://youtube.com/watch?v=MUsUljsDBg8
  9. Yessss, it was about time for the Audio Team to chime in. I get good results when I burn a witch while the CD (no matter what genre) is being ripped with EAC. Shrink, if nothing else helps try burst mode. Burst mode grabs the audio data without synchronization.
  10. Fact? Sure, if you want to make a fool out of yourself then bring your observation to the programmer's attention.
  11. Something happened along the way what used to be happy was sad something happened along the way and yesterday was all we had. Cheers!
  12. It would be a tough message if you had left out the "often".
  13. Meanwhile on another webserver... A New Way To Buy Shoes Without The Husband Knowing ?
  14. A shrink that supports your shopping addiction. How cool is that.
  15. Personally, I'd throw out the shelves that are reserved for the soon to be amassed CD-Rs (the music will be stored on harddisk instead) and use that space for the computer (assuming a PC/shelf to HiFi distance of ~40ft). I understand that not everyone can be pragmatic about this when room design or the roommate set certain limits.
  16. Why do you say that? Or is it a goak? MG Max CD-R storage capacity 800 MB (= ridiculous), standalone recorders -> inflexible. A high quality sound card is a better investment.
  17. This is a music trivia/general small talk bulletin board that has plenty of room for people who come by twice to post about whatever they want to. At 0,0054794520547945205479452054794521 posts per day I have to wonder why one would even bother to discuss this.
  18. The CD-Recorder: A relict of the stone age.
