There are two Indian Classical series in the DFW area, but unfortunately neither has re-started since COVID. This organization has concerts at the Public Library in Allen and is the better of the two (for my tastes). Their last concert by a traveling artist was on November 2, 2019. http://www.icmcdfw.org/default.aspx This organization has concerts at a church on Forest Lane in Dallas, but is mostly vocal Indian classical music, with the occasional instrumental concert (Kadri Gopalnath was the best I've seen here.) .http://www.ifaadfw.org -

Charles Mingus, Hampton Hawes, Dannie Richmond, Mingus Three I never really connected with this material until this fine reissue. Oddly, the best material is the disc of unreleased tracks.
