Some years ago, I noticed that his most highly praised work was his soundtrack to The Knack, FWIW, so I bought it. I enjoy it, but I don't see why it is considered better than others. My favorite is the soundtrack to The Living Daylights. Maybe it is because I enjoyed the movie so much.

As you can see, another problem is that although my post looks fine in the reply area, it comes out as one paragraph. I had the same problem yesterday with the bargain box thread.

I have my Firefox set on automatic upgrade. Apparently I upgraded to Firefox 3.6 yesterday. A while back, when Firefox upgraded I could not read my hotmail email. That is also true today. Both hotmail and organissimo work fine with my IE. So my guess is that Firefox 3.6 is not ready for prime time. And as I say, the organissimo problem exists with Firefox 4 Beta 10 as well.

Ken, of the 700, how many would you estimate were on major labels?

I've just downloaded Firefox 4 Beta 10, and I still have the same problem with it. I suppose that it is a nuisance that it has dropped down. But the problem is that there is apparently no way for it to go away. For example, when an ad appears on a website, you can make it go away by clicking the X on the upper right corner. But there is nowhere that I can see to click to make the drop down box go away.

Today whenever I log in, the drop down menu below my name in the upper right of the screen has dropped down, and it won't go away, even when I visit my messages. As a result, it covers up the link for "new posts since last visit". Any ideas?

This week I read The Highly Effective Detective by Richard Yancey. Very light reading with a lot of laughs. I had never heard of it before two months ago, but The Mystery Guild and its sister clubs are offering an anthology of two of the novels, and I figured that they were probably pretty good for them to do that. So I took a flyer, and I'm glad I did. Tonight I start a similar Mystery Guild anthology I was unfamiliar with, Double Negative by David Carkeet.
