I've been on the fence on the latest Dolphy release so holding off on that for now. Instead picked up these 2 Resonance releases. Never minded the funkier side of Grant Green.

Basie Roullette Studio Recordings. I have the CDR's and would love to own the set, but way too much out of my price range at present. That might never change.
Amazing stuff. I really have to shake my head what this man put together at such a late stage in life. I believe he was 90 at this point? Highly enjoyable.
What took me so long to get into Lateef's music escapes me. I already owned a few of his Savoy titles and enjoyed them. I've been listening to a good number of releases the past few days and listening to this now. Very nice live date with the added bonus of hearing the under recorded Richard Williams on trumpet.
