  1. I have to admit I did that once by putting the key in the wrong box. Sometimes you get in a rush not that I'm making excuses and you mistakenly place the key in the wrong customer box. When that did occur the customer did call and the following day I removed the key from the errant customer and made sure the customer got her packages. I apologized for the error. In your case who knows what the heck happened? The fact that the items came up scanned delivered makes me wonder exactly what happened here. Good luck. I can appreciate your frustrations.
  2. As a followup, I have a parcel sitting in Springfield, Mass. for the past 12 days. Not the first time this has happened. I guess I'm going to have to expect this for a while going forward.
  3. I know this may sound stupid. As a former carrier a couple things may have happened here. One might be the possibility that the key may have been placed in the wrong box. A neighbor either might be in possession either of your goods or hasn't cleaned out the box to obtain key. Another possibility is that the parcels were placed in the locker and the key was never placed in your box to begin with or any box for that matter. Which means anyone in that case can remove those parcels from the parcel locker without a key. You can't lock the box without first removing that key.
  4. He wrote 27 symphonies and a ton of other music. I was reading on classical music forum I frequent about a box set dedicated to those symphonies with Sveltanov. It was relatively inexpensive. Just not sure right now I want to dive into the deep end. Out of curiously what does that 3 disc set contain?
  5. Spelled either way a Russian composer I've become interested in recently. I've listened to a number of his symphonies via a streaming service and seem to enjoy what I am hearing. I believe it was Shostakovich who compared his music to Ralph Vaughan Williams. I don't know if that is an accurate description. I'll let the experts sort that out. Any fans out there who enjoy his work also?
  6. One of my favorites. Amazing he continues to put out such great music which also includes his most recent release Without Deception. Happy Birthday, Kenny!
  7. Kevin, any chance did you see one of the protests on the news over the weekend on one of the beaches down in New Hampshire? The organizer of the protest said that the governor had upsurped his authority and that things should be allowed to return to normal. He said not a new normal but the old normal. He gestured thumbs down to the new normal. Some of the protesters carried signs which said fake science. Can't make this stuff up.
  8. My old office is still short staffed. That's after they hired a bunch of people a few months back. As been cited media mail has been terrible. I've had a package sitting in Springfield, Mass. for 10 days until a short time ago.
  9. Ordered the John Patton Mosaic off eBay over 2 weeks ago from Sunnyvale, Ca.. Shipped Media mail . Using tracking the last sign of the package was 9 days ago sitting in Los Angeles.
  10. Herbie Hancock Trio '77
  11. He hates the Posral Service plain and simple. That's not a political statement but fact.
  12. As a former employee I just don't get this stuff. Of course I posted my similar experience. From what I've read online overall first class and bulk(junk) mail volume is way down because of the virus. There are days when there is nothing in my mailbox. As for parcel volume I'm hearing it's comparable to the Christmas holidays because with many stores closed and people home, there is a lot or ordering online. Amazon can't even guarantee 2 day delivery for Prime members. Chewy where we order our pet food, is taking forever to ship. We placed an order over 10 days ago and still hasn't shipped. Perhaps the rank and file at the USPS is overwhelmed. Not that's an excuse. Just weird stuff that escapes me.
  13. Just an update FWIW. The package arrived on Monday. Weird it took the travels it did. I feel kind of petty for mentioning it now since they're more obviously important things going on these days. Moving on.
