I was cleaning junk out of these storage cabinets I have in the garage, and I came across my old high school locker combination lock. Without hesitating I remembered my combination and popped it open. Just thought I'd brag for a second.

I know my calling, but I've been mired in an unrelated, boring job for 6 years. It's taken me this long to get a rhythm to my life and find a space to work on what I want to work on in between working. Plus, I still like to have fun doing the things I did as a kid--basketball, skateboarding, snowboarding...all of which require time, money, and effort.

Gouache is, in my experience, the most difficult paint to work with. Makes watercolor seem easy in comparison.

Thanks Guy, I dig that penguin too. Ink and gouache, different from my usual technique. The website is a trial version, I need to add a lot of content and I plan to do so soon. I'm just glad I've finally figured out this website stuff!
