I was just playing this one the other night. I feel like a big dork, but I like Christmas music!

Let's see...forcible rape and driving drunk...while both are reprehensible, that's just not a good comparison. One is a sexual predator causing permanent psychological trauma and likely physical damage to his victims, the other is risking killing/injuring himself and others by his enebriated actions, but might not kill or injure anyone. Both are terrible, but rape is much worse.

My parents and I live right against a hillside with no neighbors behind us, so we get all types of cool wildlife. Hummingbirds, western tanagers, red-tailed hawks, sparrow hawks, and owls are the birds I know by name, but there are many others. There's even this weird clan of runaway parrots that I'll see every once in a while, wayward pets that flew out of windows and have teamed up against their foreign environment. Deer are frequent, in fact they'll hang out and eat ivy across the street while I shoot hoops(!). Last year my mom spotted a bobcat in our back yard, that was awesome. Earlier this year there was a huge, beautifully adorned garter snake on the patio. We used to get rattlesnakes here and there, but it's been years. There's also a massive array of desert lizards all over the place. Coyotes, raccoons, possums, skunks...it's like a Discovery Channel program around my house!

The last few nights when I've been accessing the organissimo forums from my Mac it has forced my internet to quit several times. Anyone else have this problem?

None of you guys have ever gotten behind the wheel after a few beers? Not "drunk" in the literal sense of stumbling, slurring speech, and swerving all over the road, but "drunk" in the sense that a cop with a breathalizer won't give a fuck? It doesn't take much for a 502.

My oldest brother had three 502s (one got thrown out on a technicality), so I've been scared away from driving drunk. Luckily enough, the few times I have driven drunk I haven't wrecked, hurt anyone, or gotten caught. Not a risk I take often!

My first tape collection was stolen out of the back of my parent's truck while parked in a friend's driveway after a camping trip. I still have my second tape collection in storage. There's stuff in there I've never gotten on cd, so every couple years I get them out. I once got a big box of outdated foreign language school curriculum tapes for mixmaking which were essentially going to go in a dumpster. They were terrible quality, but free. Some were entertaining to listen to; multiple Asian dialects, Russian, Portuguese, etc.

As a huge fan of Hendrix I was excited about this album and picked up the Bluebird reissue. I was disappointed and found it unlistenable. It lacked whatever it is I find appealing about Jimi's music. I sold my copy shortly after buying it.

Hopefully RDK will weigh in about venues in LA. I've never been to a jazz show, but organissimo would bring Boo Radley out of his room!

Kwame's game is ugly, I don't know if he'll ever come around. He doesn't seem to be a player with a big basketball IQ, no natural hoop skills. The youngster Bynum has real potential. Tyson Chandler welcomed him to the NBA with a crucial block of a dunk attempt in crunch time last night. Between Duhon, Heinrich, and all the other young atheletes, the baby Bulls are a fun team to watch.

The Lakers might be a last place team this year. The Clippers on the other hand, look pretty damned tough. Go Clips!
