  1. It's out of print, and used copies are mighty expensive. Try to contact Studio 52. I orederd it from this online store after it went oop for a reasonable price.
  2. I called Mosaic yesterday. We have to wait another two weeks untill this set will be available. Just as well, I suppose. I called Mosaic again and got the same answer: we'll have to wait another 1-2 weeks. Eventually, the set is on his way to Israel.
  3. This double album Woody Shaw recorded with Geri Allen, is a must:
  4. The Israeli pride of the French Open is Andy Ram, who along with his partner, Nathalie Dechy, won the Mixed Doubles competition.
  5. I would add also the *Blues March* and the *Modern Touch*.
  6. Nice cover ! Looks like one by 'Harvey'. Great music! I don't know why but this cover always reminds me the Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali.
  7. To the best of my understanding, you can add to the wish list only sets which have already been released and you want to order them in the future. This is not for special requests. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. Please remind me the name of this famous building in Manhattan. Bentsy, to repeat myself: it is the Flatiron Building! Thanks for refreshing my rusty memory.
  9. Please remind me the name of this famous building in Manhattan.
  10. Thank you Flurin and John. The trio format recordings look very interesting.
  11. IMHO, every note Tapscott ever recorded, worth buying.
  12. So far, only two of his recordings in my collection: Disorder at the Border: The Music of Coleman Hawkins and Plays Monk. I find both of them very enjoyable. What else do you recommend?
  13. The Jazztet is one of my all time favorite small groups. I have a special weakness to Benny Golson compositions and arrangements. The more I listen to this set, the more I love it.
  14. Happy Birthday !!!
  15. All the best, Ray!!!
  16. His Inside Chicago series is also recommended (Vol 1-4). Recorded during the 90's.
  17. Everything Paul Bley recorded for SteepleChase worth listening, but if you are talking about the best of the best, I think this one meets your requirements. Caravan Suite is another favorite.
  18. I saw Uri Caine in Tel-Aviv a few weeks ago. He played with Don Byron and I really enjoyed it. So far I got only one Caine's CD in my collection: Solitaire, which is an amazing solo session, but one CD is definitely not enough and I plan to work on it. I'll remember your recommendations, ghost.
  19. I was watching earlier today how our Shahar Peer won Slovenia's Katarina Srebotnik. Shahar is an amazing player but now Kuznetsova is waiting for her and it's not going to be easy.
  20. Beaux Art Trio.
  21. I cant blame you for that.
