  1. correct. Excellent album.
  2. I would not be surprised if it gets a second run.
  3. it is sold out, though I'm sure some distributors will be getting it. I have my 'notice on' from Dusty.
  4. yeah, went back and forth with Chuck about this some years ago -- hard to figure, but Williams seems to be incorrect in the sleeve text, though the US issue went out of print very quickly. In talking with Haden, he recalled Alan showing up to his door with the freshly released LP in the late '60s, cackling about getting something out on Verve titled 'Orgasm.'
  5. one of the best avant-leaning jazz records ever made.
  6. Thanks, was a fun project to be involved with! I have never actually owned the Infinite Sound for some reason.
  7. Come -- Eleven Eleven -- (Matador, US orig)
  8. Tom Stewart -- Sextette/Quintette -- (ABC-Paramount, US orig)
  9. Luckily, our cat more than makes up for others' challenges in this area.
  10. one of my favorites. I had a Japanese pressing as well until I was able to get a UK original from our own JohnS.
  11. Yeah, I have Journey to Air on the original Hino private press "Love" imprint. It's a monster free jazz session. The others have been a b*itch to track down; there are those Overseas LP reissues but if I'm going to spend the money, Canyon would be the way to go. I'll probably just get the CDs anyway to tide me over.
  12. Groundhogs -- Blues Obituary -- (Imperial, US)
  13. Amazing news.
  14. Amazing. It must've been extraordinary. Love that record.
  15. will definitely be getting this. I am not entirely sure but I didn't think Sam Records did CDs.
  16. Allen Lowe sorta does I think? My impression was that he has lessened/narrowed contact in recent years. He's on facebook but never approved my friend request... not that FB is the best platform for any of this, natch.
  17. well, listened to Hot Tuna and Blind Willie McTell last night, so the ICP records are still on the shelf...
  18. Bert Jansch -- Birthday Blues -- (Reprise, US)
  19. Honi Gordon -- Sings -- (Status pressing)
  20. I haven't had Groupcomposing on deck in many years. I was never as into that title as some other early ICP records, but could stand to drop the needle and reinvestigate.
  21. It's an amazing and insane cover image. Kudos!
  22. I saw that obit mix up on the Wolf Eyes twitter (or maybe their instagram) and thought it was a joke. Guess not! Oof.
  23. That duo LP is very cool and under-heard.
  24. oh that's too bad, dug his playing with Naura.
