  1. Le Bonheur is great as well.
  2. I have had good luck with her other Saravah LPs from the 1970s as well. Interesting figure in music, as well as her co-conspirators Areski Belkacem and Jacques Higelin.
  3. AR Penck - Going Through - (Penck) w/ Frank Lowe, Jeanne Lee, Denis Charles, Wm. Parker and Billy Bang.
  4. Foolishly high price for that mediocre LP. Should be $40 at most!
  5. I only know of Comme a la Radio, which is great.
  6. Wow. Good luck with it. FWIW, I would say 4 or 1 would be the right answer.
  7. Not everybody is into Moondoc - and admittedly I'm not always, all the time - but I always trust him as a player (still) and that goes a long way. The trio set is really nice, too.
  8. Cool, thanks for the update. I have a couple of Wave LPs and without Ind, clearly a significant chunk of the Tristano school's music wouldn't have seen the light of day commercially.
  9. Thankfully there isn't a "taint" label.
  10. I agree - it's a great one. I wish I had the King vinyl.
  11. It is better by far than the photo of a hill of beans at my work, with the caption "Celebrate Black History Month."
  12. I was under the impression that Motivation was recorded in the '60s but not issued until the early '70s.
  13. Yeah, I'll be putting something in the next issue of Paris Transatlantic. Between the three of us, we'll have a consensus! I have to say I really like Mark Hennen. Too bad he was only with Muntu for a short time.
  14. Where are you Lester? The month isn't over yet.
  15. The label is legit and quite interesting. I have the LPs as well as the set and am glad to have it. Beautiful job they did.
  16. I finally scored Motivation - not cheap though. Very good record.
  17. I have Modern Windows on LP but have yet to score a nice copy of Tenor Stylings (tried!).
  18. That is a really nice record. Too bad the live gig I saw by that band wasn't quite as hot.
  19. Larry Young / Joe Gallivan / "Nicholas" - Love Cry Want - (Weird Forest)
  20. Austrian psych band Novaks Kapelle was also on Ariola.
  21. I was getting my wires crossed with Yosef Ben Israel.
  22. My brain seems to have gotten rewired.
  23. Green River - Come On Down - (Homestead)
