  6. I was interested to read that the Keef Hartley Band was in the lineup at Woodstock. At the time, Hartley was recording for Deram Records and some of his recordings feature trumpeter Henry Lowther. I wonder if Lowther made the Woodstock show? These days Keith Hartley runs his own joinery business in Preston, Lancashire I believe.
  7. Remember seeing her band on the TV around 1984 as a total unknown - before her big hits charted. My opinion at the time and of a friend who also saw the show was that she was quite a talent. It's also the first act I remember seeing around that time that (other than 'Pigbag' and 'Rip, Rig and Panic') that was obviously jazz influenced and a bell-wether of a new trend for the 80s.

  24. Thanks ! By some fluke I've got a Savoy original of that Bill Dixon/NYC 5 - so looks like I'm not missing too much. The bulk of the disc is made up of the Bill Dixon/NYC Five lp. Other tracks are by Cleve Pozar, and Paul Bley.
