  3. A bit curious about The Modest Jazz Trio (Jim Hall/Red Mitchell/Red Kelly) – Good Friday Blues (Pacific Jazz, 1960) Never heard of it. And Medina and Iska of course. I think Action is the McLean Mosaic or am I wrong?
  4. Few titles I miss, quite happy anyway.
  5. They could cut the VAT from the price. I just bought a shaving brush from UK and they didn’t charge VAT. Lately I buy records only from EU, prices are higher then Japan and US, but no surprise.
  6. Just preordered BUT Vat included and I’ll pay it again to the shipper AND 40$ international shipping to Italy, not a bargain for sure.
  7. Hard to find a nice copy on vinyl at fair price

  15. My suggestions about safety, after 42 years on motorcycle: buy the best full face helmet you can afford, you’ll never regret it. Safety jacket is a good thing too, a good pair of gloves warmly recommended: the first thing one do in an slow speed accident is put the hands forward, gloves will not safe bones but your skin will love them. About helmet it has an expiry date, since material are intended to absorb crash it will be less effective after years of daily use. Sun and temperature shock “cook” the helmets. Said that enjoy your rides.
  16. The problem with modernism and avant-garde architecture is that is great for museum and all that stuff like opera house, parliament’s buildings and luxury villas, but is pretty damn cheap for real life housings. I think architects should have been forced to live in their buildings for a fair amount of time. And concrete doesn’t age well like stone.
  17. I ride a gravel bike, not e-bike, for sports and traveling, not as commuter. E-bikes are the future. I think I’ll get one when my legs will ask for, I have no ideological problem with progress.
  18. Everybody is on discogs nowadays. There are several good sellers from Japan over there, but the good old days when one deals personally with seller has gone. Discogs has its merits and I meet some nice guys but Tanno San was the last real gentleman in a market made of “seller”. Deal with him was a pleasure.
  19. His music was great, anyway
