Did anyone ever provide information on how do d/l all the covers (images) in one fell swoop? I know it was discussed, but seemed to be addressed privately, if at all. Help please?

Awwwww...he's beautiful Jim. CONGRATULATIONS! (although I must say I was terrified when the first picture I saw when I opened the thread was the Godfather's mug shot!)

I had this happening briefly this morning, but all's well on the eastern front now.

I was introduced to Yes with 90125, and just repurchased the remaster (after losing my old CD copy somewhere along the way). Sounds great! Can some of you Yes-heads tell me, if I LOVE 90125, which direction I should go in their repertoire? Yes, I loved Asia back in the day as well... I just don't know where to branch out with Yes, and would love to do so. org.org is EXPENSIVE!

Wow. What a cool note. Rest in peace, Dex...and I know I'm not alone when I say I'll NEVER stop thinking about him. Thanks for checking in, Ms. Gordon.

I agree, B. Christ, I hope to be able to get up, have breakfast and look presentable every day when I'm 80, let alone travel around the states (and world, see jimmysmith.org) playing in clubs at night!

I'm occasionally in a position to "give" real estate listings to real estate agents. I have done this twice in the last year to one individual agent, and both properties sold, netting the agent (who ended working as both the buyers' agent and the sellers' agent in both transactions) a cool $50 thou in commission. It's been two months since the last closing, and I haven't received so much as a telephone call of thanks. Although I never expected quid pro quo referrals from this person, I did think it would be good to have an "in" with a well-respected real estate agency in town. Now I'm just pissed, not because I wanted another piece of paper expressing thanks or bottle of wine, but because of the principal of the thing. I guess I'm "old school," having been brought up to issue thank you notes (and now occasionally emails) as a minimum response to a kind gesture. I clearly will choose another referral source from now on; should I just let this go? Am I overreacting? Foisting my old world ideas about politeness upon a world in flux? WWOD?

Blue Mitchell Mosaic Set Or Electric Bill
Peter Johnson replied to Soulstation1's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
happy to oblige! -
Close, vajerzy--we actually live about 2.5 blocks South of Rittenhouse Square on Waverly Street! Funny that you mention Trading Places. Akroyd's house was actually on Delancey Street, a street that we've always loved, but you can't buy there for much less than a mil these days! We liked our street because it was like a "mini Delancey Street!" I'll see if I can scare up some interior photos. Our house was first remodeled in 1920 to add bathrooms (that's what the patio had been for) and electricity (replacing interior gaslights)!

1852! Our house was one of 26 (thirteen on each side) build in Philadelphia between 1850 and 1856; one of the few east coast houses that was actually being build at that time due to material shortages because of the Civil War (they could keep building because they already bought the bricks!). There are a lot of secrets behind those walls! Previous owners have done some neat things (great slate/radiant heat floor in kitchen/dining room), some okay things (raised top floor roof to make it a cathedral ceiling); and some crappy things (cheaped out on the kitchen cabinets). I need to redo one full bathroom; Jim, your shots are giving me some confidence I could tackle the job myself! Here's a picture of the outside front from the listing when we bought it.
