  1. A quick check shows Amazon has the three volumes of Teddy and The Girls, with volume 3 a new copy at regular price. As for the first two, well, if you got some spare cash.
  2. Maybe Red Nichols? Looks a lot like Wild Bill Davison http://www.jazzland.at/archiv/bilder/st010...avison-50er.jpg
  3. On second thought, I'll skip this set and wait for the remaining DETS.

From an AAJ thread, Maxine Sullivan's Attic
  10. There was a cheap copy available at a Borders store so...
  11. Yes - I'm seeing quite a lot of these new Universal reprints in stores: Basie, Ella, Oscar Peterson, Art Tatum (solo & group) Pablos, a few Dizzy Gillespie and Freddie Hubbard titles - all selling at mid price.
  12. Oyyy! I'll probably get this, eventually, but it'll be positioned somewhere in the lower half of the "must have" list.
  13. Best place to hide'em ! So what wuz I doing, flipping through KG and JM discs
  14. Found at a Tower store, slotted in between some Kenny G and Jane Monheit discs , a copy of George Braith's Complete Blue Note Sessions, at a nice price too.
  15. Hey leave one for me! I'm not going to do a Mosaic order until the Chu Berry and Newport 58 are released.
  16. The Great Wall was constructed over a period of many centuries starting from the three kingdoms period and completed by the Mings, some 2000 years later in the 17th century. Most of the current Great Wall is built by the Mings and much of the parts built earlier during Qin and three kingdoms period, using wood, small stones and mud, has crumbled away apparently. Frankly, I'd rather substitute the Great Wall with the Mogao Grottoes (Thousand Buddha Caves). IMO, as awe inspiring if not more. http://www.chinatravel.com/china-travel-gu.../dunhuang.shtml
