Ruth Brown recorded a fantastic song in the 50's called "I still love you". Rings in my mind right now. Sequel CD: http://cd.ciao.co.uk/Best_Of_The_Rest_Of_R..._Brown__5922881

Good. This should generate some cash flow, allowing them to release more from Michael Bolton... or are they going to overdub him on this? This cover is a little bit scary... http://www.amazon.com/Michael-Bolton/dp/B0...TF8&s=music

Hi, I am a great fan of George Russells jazz records from the 50's and up to 1962 when "The Outer View" was released. I especially am fond of these CD's: "Stratusphunk", "Jazz in the Space Age" and "Jazz Workshop". Has anyone heard this record and know if it is a good one? http://www.georgerussell.com/80th.html Are there other recordings from 1963 and onwards that can be recommended? - Jostein

Question for European board members
jostber replied to chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Hi, Maybe the Eurail pass will do: http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/passes/e...l_flexipass.htm. The rail system in central Western Europe is usuallly very effective. Exceptions might be Poland and Finland. European hostels: http://www.europeanhostels.com/fall/ Most larger cities are safe places if you keep out of drugs, dubious neighboorhoods, know where to go, don't run in the traffic etc. -

Hi, I would like to read a book on the great Charlie Parker. Which book do you think gives the best overview of his music, records, influences and accomplishments, and at the same time does not focus on excessive stories on drug use and personal stuff? TIA, - Jostein
