  1. VOTE JOHN TAPSCOTT FOR FUTURE AOTW PICKER! After Dmitry of course. For the record when I picked Mobley's ACFD, I did just as you said.
  2. I voted for VD.
  3. Does he get banned if someone votes no?
  4. "while I whip this out."
  5. I voted the obvious choice, the first yes. Dmitry, keep your fingers crossed!

  7. If you dig antiques or drinking with bikers and cowboys, make a stop north of Phoenix. http://www.cityofprescott.net/
  8. The problem with Phoenix is I don't know that there is really much worth seeing. What I mean by that is people come here more just to get away from the cold, so we have a shit load of resorts and golf courses. If you want shopping try here... http://fashionsquare.westcor.com/ or here... http://www.shopbiltmore.com/ Some good food.... http://www.digitalcity.com/phoenix/dining/....adp?vid=207466 I have a soft spot for this place. The top-notch pastry chef is our ex-governor. Steak... http://www.durantsfinefoods.com/ Try a martini. And check out Frank Lloyd Wright's house. http://slipdogg.com/fllw/buildings/west.php
  9. John if you want real spice try this place. http://www.losdosmolinos.com/ Show up and hour or two before you are ready to eat, and plan on waiting at least that long. Everything and I do mean everything is spicy.
  10. With this thread title, how the hell am I going to find a buyer now? B)
  11. If you enjoy wine I may be able to set up a tour for you. http://doscabezaswinery.com/ Not too far south of Tucson is the birthplace of Charles Mingus (Nogales). The AZ side is not much, but crossing into Mexico for some shopping and a beer can be fun.
  12. Just some ideas. http://www.library.arizona.edu/images/sabi...no/welcome.html http://www.cityoftombstone.com/ http://www.americanwest.com/pages/tombston.htm http://www.desertmuseum.org/ http://www.pimaair.org/
  13. John, I assume you have been to the Phoenix area, so you are looking for recommendations around Tucson?
  14. John Coltrane - Coltrane Time Duke Ellington - Ella & Duke at the Cote D' Azur

    Artie Shaw

Count me in with the fans of Artie Shaw. Begin the Beguine was one of my first purchases as I started my journey in jazz. "Nightmare" still blows me away.
  17. I don't have this date. Looks like a good one to get. Thanks Joe.
  18. Ditto. Goodbye Charles.
  19. As did I. Of course I need to know what these other two jokers plan on snatching, so I don't ask for the same.
  20. Bastard. I threw something in, but deleted it for what I thought was something better. It is apparent I was wrong to do both.
  21. JM, she was known to guzzle that shit while playing her sitar.
  22. YES! Welcome to the club Al. I love those three record dates, and I love Higgins. IMO he was truly at his best with Morgan, and Mobley.
  23. Birds House 151 Avenue B NYC
