  1. Ah yes, likely.
  2. As far as I know there IS no remastered cd version of Exile on Main Street. I haven't bought any of the new remasters; in fact Exile is the only cd I have of the Stones (have vinyl of many I don't listen to) and I'd have bought a remaster; it's my favorite.
  3. Yes, I know. I still don't wear glasses of any kind, even for reading, though I'm almost 50. I guess I'm some sort of mutant. (Fish oil helps!)
  4. Welcome! I'd invite you to compare some RVGs to other domestic and import versions . . . which is an expensive thing to suggest so I won't invite you! Yes, I was so happy to have my ears measured recently and find that my hearing is normal and not diminished; I've taken great care over the last tgwo decades to protect my hearing and that paid off!
  5. I have nearly all this material, and it's quite interesting stuff. Roy had an attitude that was just guaranteed to make exciting music 99% of the time. A few of these sessions don't quite make me grab for them with gusto, but most really deliver!
  6. I can heartily recommend the "The Immortal Miff Mole" cd on Jazzology, a quite late recording that represents a spirited ("well lubricated") band!
  7. C, "Groove Merchant"---Jerome Richardson!
  8. 2.97% $%#@ What percentage would it be if I didn't have a life?
  9. Jobim's "Wave" and a cheap Buck Clarke cd from Dusty Groove.
  10. They're too expensive (for me). They work fine though.
  11. I highly recommend this Pepper material as well. This and the material recently reissued on Savoy are high caliber jazz!
  12. Including Texas: "It's a whole other country!" That's right! When the Mosaic collection of the Complete Quartet Out Recordings is released, they're going to say "appearing on cd for the first time."
  13. Look! Presidential skill!
  14. Guess this should be in Audio Talk
  15. Are they sure they got the wrong movie?
  16. Nippon Columbia.
  17. I really meant to say Jazz Oracle, Canadian!
  18. Don't you know: when an American record company refers to cds, they expect you to "realize" that there are no cds from any other country on the planet! "On cd for the FIRST TIME"! That makes sense, if you don't take in to account any foriegn issues!
  19. Savoy.
  20. None of these seem to move at all for me!
