  7. “The Complete April 1957 Riverside Recordings of Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane” disc 2 The remastering on this set is wonderful. And the music . . .keep revealing details to me listening after listening.

  22. “The Complete Verve Recordings Of The Buddy De Franco Quartet / Quintet With Sonny Clark” Mosaic Records LP box set, record 1. Rudy Van Gelder mastered this set and it sounds very good. A year ago I tried to sell this set as I have the cd version as well and have always listened to that, no one seemed interested. I’m glad I’ve kept it.

  24. I played this one (arrived in the mail today) twice–it was such an energetic and bold and clear session and recording. I wanted to hear details again.
