You are probably good where you are. I like to listen to all of this set. . . I generally play a different disc each time I pull it down and have not gotten tired of any of them. I'm more inclusive and expansive as far as collecting goes than you, and I've been retired for almost fourteen years now and have had lots of time to play discs. I think for your collection you're fine with the 2 cd set. NP: Cannonball Adderley and Nat Adderley "The David Axelrod Years" Stateside 2 cd set, disc 1 Nice compilation! Track#1.1 & 2.9 are from the 1970 LP "Experience In E". Track#1.2, 1.6, 2.2 & 2.5 are from the 1972 LP "Soul Of The Bible". Track#1.3 was released as a Capitol 45. Track#1.4, 1.7 & 2.6 are from the 1968 LP "Accent On Africa". Track#1.5, 2.1 & 2.7 are from the 1972 LP "Soul Zodiac". Track#1.8 is from the 1970 LP "The Price You Got To Pay To Be Free". Track#1.9 & 2.4 are from the 1967 LP "74 Miles Away/Walk Tall". Track#1.10 is from the 1972 LP "Music You All". Track#2.3 is from the 1967 LP "Why Am I Treated So Bad!". Track#2.8 is from the 1971 LP "The Black Messiah"

Yes, I traded this away and have the box set. . . . I agree that he sounds wonderful here, and so does Kenny. Performances that always unfold and reveal a new bit of truth and beauty.

Tania Maria "Come with Me" Concord SACD I haven't heard this one in some time. I tend to play later Tania Maria but I'm really enjoying re-visiting this one. I love this woman. She has so much talent and personality and energy and she communicates it all so well. I have to thank one little video appearance with her nephew Ed Motta for inspiring me to seek her work out and for many many hours of audio enjoyment.

Luisa Maita "Remixed" I like the material being re-mixed and futzed with here, so I wanted to check this out.

Hmmm. . . good point about Mose days. Right now Milt Jackson, Wes Montgomery "Bags Meets Wes" DCC gold cd. I mean there's also Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones and Philly Joe Jones. It can't miss and it knocks it to the edge of the park.
