It's on the second disc! The Columbia is called Tubby Hayes/Clark Terry "The New York Sessions" and was originally "Tubbs in New York" on lp https://www.discogs.com/release/1505081-Tubby-Hayes-With-Clark-Terry-The-New-York-Sessions

It’s been too long since I listened to Billie and I saw this one on the shelf and popped it in. Billie Holiday “All or Nothing at All” Verve/Analogue Productions SACD
-
It's very good. Tubby plays tenor, flute and vibes, Kirk does his thing and there is a really nice piece where both Tub and Kirk play flute. The piano trio backing them is just right--letting the stars shine, and then swinging nicely in their own segments. PS: I was remembering wrongly about the Columbia cd, that is another session. I also have this in the Kirk Mercury box, but it doesn't sound this good.

Tubby Hayes “Tubby’s back in Town” Limelight/Classic Records gold cd There’s an earlier Columbia cd that has more material, but boy it doesn’t sound as good as this Classic Records disc does!

"Tapes were unearthed in the private tape collection of Verve Records founder Norman Granz - mixed directly from 4-track tapes recorded by Wally Heider - resulting in higher-fidelity audio than most ‘lost’ recordings. This album Includes the first Ella recordings of the hit songs “Alfie” and “Music to Watch Girls By” and her band features the rarely-heard but hard-swinging trio of Jimmy Jones, Bob Cranshaw and Sam Woodyard. The Ellington band captured here was at its peak, featuring Cat Anderson, Cootie Williams, Harry Carney, Paul Gonsalves, Jimmy Hamilton, Johnny Hodges and Russell Procope." "This newly unearthed live album, The Moment of Truth: Ella at the Coliseum, showcases Ella Fitzgerald’s timeless vocal brilliance, supported by a stellar trio featuring Jimmy Jones on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Sam Woodyard on drums. Adding to the magic, members of Duke Ellington’s Orchestra elevate the performance to legendary status. The trumpet section includes Cat Anderson, Mercer Ellington, Herbie Jones, and Cootie Williams, while the trombones are masterfully handled by Lawrence Brown, Chuck Connors, and Buster Cooper. The reeds bring their own dynamic flair with Harry Carney, Paul Gonsalves, Jimmy Hamilton, Johnny Hodges, and Russell Procope. Together, this extraordinary ensemble delivers an unforgettable concert experience that highlights the finest in jazz artistry." https://www.everythingjazz.com/story/ella-fitzgeralds-moment-of-truth/

Arturo O’Farrill and Chuco Valdes “Familia-Tribute to Bebo and Chico” cd 1 I have been tube rolling and using Afro-Cuban Jazz and Afro-Samba jazz as that helps me distinguish differences. And the music is great.
-
I have most of what I want from the missing as well. I need the Sam Most. . . I really like Most's work. Maybe one day.

I'm not an expert on Armstrong bios, but I think this is likely the best one and is well-written indeed. Probably a good idea--I don't stream so it matters not to me, but I have been listening to Oliver and Armstrong as I read. I'm going through this book very slowly, savoring it and also reading other things.
