  1. Daredevil, Netflix series Season 2 via promo DVD set. Violent! But quite a good series. I'm one of the few people who liked the movie. This falls as far grittier. My ideal Daredevil is somewhere in between the movie and the TV series, that's sort of how the best years of the comic book were in my estimation (the Miller version). I'm also getting caught up on 12 Monkeys. I didn't really "feel" the beginning episode of this second season and stopped it halfway and changed my DVR settings. But others have told me that I should have stuck at it. I'm about five episodes in and okay, it's better than I thought. . . but not essential viewing. And I just re-watched the last twenty minutes of last night's Cavs vs. Warriors again via DVR just for the heck of it. It was an unexpected joy to see them win at Oracle Stadium last night.
  2. Looks like something to hear!
  3. I revisited Amandla lately and found excitement in it again. I was excited by it when it first came out, and then for a long time I think I didn't enjoy it much as I felt "This is Miles playing someone else's music" at a time when I would have really loved "a new direction in music by Miles Davis." But with the passage of more time, it's good music, interesting to hear, the textures draw me in.
  4. All sold! Thanks.
  5. Yes, I'm not trying to be Donald Trump. I have the SHM-CDs and kept those. I spent hours culling duplicates from the collection and will have more for sale soon.
  6. That was fast. Sold.

  10. Two have sold. First post has been updated. Thanks!
  11. Thanks . . . yes, I really liked the Elys2 but the Exact2 is a big step up, and about the same dollars as the Dynavector. I got a great deal on a second RP3 with a new Exact2 and the TTPSU and sold my first RP3 with the Elys2. Adding the Groovetracer upgrades was a further big improvement, I'm really satisfied. Kevin a cartridge with a bump to high frequencies wouldn't work for me! I'm very sensitive to high end . . flat works best for me.
  12. HF, did you have an Elys2 in the RP3? An Ortofan? I have an RP3 decked out with all the Groovetracer upgrades, a TTPSU, the white belt and put an Exact2 cartridge on it. Love the sound, not going to change a thing until I have to (when the cartridge needs replacing, hopefully some years down the road!)
  13. Larry Sanders Show, "Season 4"
  14. Thanks John, they're yours, I've replied to your PM; I will get these out to you. I sold four from another board as well. I have updated the original post.

  17. I've never cared about boxing, or many other sports or many athletes. But Ali was a fascinating human being with humor, intelligence, compassion, conviction and courage, and I can only wonder what it must have been like to battle the ravaging disease he had for so long. Rest in peace Champ.

  19. They sure sucked last night. Which is a drag. Cleveland really needs to win. Probably not going to happen.
  20. Too bad as it was a 9 dollar or so Japan price reissue when it was released five years ago.
  21. Pretty much the material that is on Biograph that was not on the original albums. As Biograph is not included in this box set, this makes certain none of that material is "orphaned." 22. I got some great responses, first was from someone on the Steve Hoffman board, thanks all, this is sold.
  23. IMO much of the most recent is more important than some of the 'seventies. But yeah it's all subjective, it's good music and a great box set.
