Hmmm. . . .I could see 7/8 or 7/15 but 7/11?

Looking forward to this, supposedly released Friday. Not much promotion of pre-release press about this one! I wonder if that is Betty wanting to maintain a low-key stance, or if this is an imitation of the pop album "surprise drop" (online). I hope it shows Friday. . .exciting news.

What a band!

The Larry Sanders Show is on amazon, complete series, for 20 bucks Prime.

I've played it through once so far and like it. Sound quality is not unlike the other High Note live Woody Shaw volumes.

I'm happy if there are two more, indeed. The show just keeps getting better . . . it's sinister in many ways.

That makes me three to say: don't give up. It's one of my favorite shows now active (one more season to go). I just finished Boardwalk Empire Season 4 on Blu-ray. After watching the bonus features, it's on to Jessica Jones on DVD.

There's a newer pressing LP out there, Scorpio maybe. I have one, bought new from DG. . . it sounds good. . . but doesn't sound like an original likely does. Probably made from one of the CDs.

Good news for someone! Both the Japanese releases of that album sound great imo.

I think nearly every Jazz Oracle release is worth checking out, even those I've had low expectations for have been very interesting. But I definitely recommend the Red Nichols, the Jack Purvis, the Ben Pollocks, the Three Ts, and the Dorsey Bros.

I'm ready for Game 7 and for a Cleveland win. We'll see. This town needs a win. Especially right before Trump gets here and bums us out.

The trio portion of the "Beautiful Love" tune is interesting. . . not sure I could take a whole two albums of this with orchestration dolloped on top. . . . I liked his Andrew Hill themed album. Hmmm.
