I'm not certain, but I think Solid does not intend to reissue more. And there's not many more to reissue to be honest. The US label may reissue more, not sure.

Blood on the Tracks I consider a real masterpiece. But I really don't care what anyone else thinks about it, there are lots of angry dudes on the internet with opinions different than mine and that's cool, let 'em rant, I just wish they could be happier.

I'm really enjoying "Shadows in the Night." I'm also enjoying the T-Bone Burnett production "Lost on the River."

Most of the sessions have good sound on the OJC original box set.

When I read your review of Demon Dance I was like WTF Laton, because that was the one I ordered that I thought sounded the worst when I received it. So I re-listened to it and the McMaster and I agree it does sound better than the McMaster and is probably the best digital version available. . . . But I still think it doesn't sound that great. Which is too bad, such great music! One SHM-CD I listened to lately that blew me away was Herbie Hancock's The Prisoner. That sounds awesome. All the Grant Green ones I bought I have also been quite impressed by.

There have been a number of positive posts about this release here and there on the board. I like it, listened through it attentively only once though, need to revisit it, but it's staying in the collection.

Okay, yes, I have that one, but didn't realize it was both on one disc. Thanks. Need to find it and listen to it again soon. Right now I'm stuck in a Tegarden loop.

The only release with both that I know of is the Fresh Sound, I don't believe that OJC ever put out a twofer, I only remember seeing the first album (the ony one I've heard) on OJC.

"Where are You" on this seems to me to have a Teagarden vibe to it, a good thing. I'm not very well-versed on Sinatra and I didn't once think "Sinatra!" during the listening to this, I know all these tunes from others but Bob inhabits them comfortably enough. I like this one more than I thought I would.

I skipped American lit. in high school, and so I never read Catcher in the Rye or To Kill a Mockingbird. (I caught up on most of the other readings.) I do mean to get to Mockingbird one day, and maybe I will read them in the proper order. Ok so now that I read the piece it turns out Go Set the Watchman is written earlier but is actually a sequel. It is about Scout as a young woman. And even Atticus is in the book. That's kind of intriguing, but it will be really curious how it gets reviewed. It's probably one of those books that will be review-proof. Yes, I meant to type "sequel" but "prequel" came out. Sorry.

I even like that one. In part because I HATE Christmas albums. But I loved the arrangements and playing on that one and most of the singing. Dylan is an amazing person. I'd love to write a huge novel about his mature life if only I knew a bit more about it! I'm listening to Shadows in the Night right now, it came earlier than I thought it would. Beautiful arrangements and recording and I'm enjoying the singing. I'll be revisiting this one and can't wait to get my girlfriend's opinion

I'll have mine late today but probably won't listen to it til tomorrow. John, that was how I felt til about ten years ago when suddenly all those albums clicked for me in a way that they hadn't before, and the Bootleg volume "Tell Tale Signs" really solidified that for me. . . now I like all those albums. Tempest has been played a lot the last two years.
