Jon Hendricks “Salud! Joao Gilberto, Originator of the Bossa Nova” Reprise/Muzak Japan lp facsimile cd
A very nice listen. . . the mastering on these Muzak Records reissues from Japan is wonderful.
A box set that I ordered in January 2022 finally has been released and is in hand. Worth the wait? I guess so--it sure is a great release.

French vibist and saxophonist salute two of their models with a 60s-style mainstream set, aided by their organist and drummer sons
Not cold this morning, but quite cool, especially with the heavy dew. A REAL relief up here in the listening room that has been stuffy too long.
Starting off with a new arrival:
Bob Dylan “The1974 Live Recordings” Columbia 27 cd box set, disc 1

Fiona the dachshund has decided that this is the first COLD morning. Feels welcome to me!
Starting off with
Tina Brooks "Minor Move" Blue Note Japan 85th Anniversary UHQCD.
I wish they had used the original Japanese cover. But this sure sounds better than the last release!
