  1. Yes, I have all those as well as the Gordon, Griffin, Teddi King, Konitz, Monk. Great music and sound.
  2. Since this one is in the same slimline double cd case as “Basie Reunion” I’m listening to it as well before re-filing. Great session! “For Basie” Prestige/OJC cd FOLLOWED BY Abdullah Ibrahim “3” Gearbox 2 cd set, disc 1 BEAUTIFUL recordings.
  3. I have the Muzak that are from Storyville and Black Lion and I have to say: they have never sounded better to me before, whether on LP or cd. Excellent sounding reissues! I got them from cdjapan so I paid not quite as much as from US retailers, but more than 8.99!
  4. This has two ten-step stepped attenuators and is the version that uses two 12AU7 and one 0D3 tubes. I will include several types of each NOS tube. This preamp has three inputs and two outputs, all single-ended RCA. A Synergistic Research "Purple" fuse is included, installed. 525 dollars including postage within the US. If interested PM me here or email me at lonjazz@yahoo.com Thanks! Photo on 7-31-24 at 12.41 PM1440×960 210 KB

  13. Okay, she finally settled down. I’m enjoying the cool morning while it lasts. Should stay fairly cool, mid-seventies, today. . . but plenty of rain expected. Shifting to Big Blue, Bob Dylan, “The Cutting Edge” disc 5. “I’m in the kitchen with the tombstone blues.” Love take 1.

  19. Miles Davis- April 9, 1970 Fillmore West, San Francisco
  20. Frankie Trumbauer and his Orchestra 1936-1946" Chronogical Classics cd
  21. Dexter Gordon “Our Man in Paris” Blue Note Japan 24 bit by RVG lp facsimile cd
  22. Jefferson Airplane “Volunteers” RCA/Culture Factory cd "HANDS AGAINST THE WALL!" A blast from the past for me. … I used to really get into the 'Plane. People rag on the Culture Factory releases perhaps with good reason, but I have all their Airplane, Hot Tuna, and Quicksilver releases and I confess that at the right volume level these cds bring me back to the sound of my late night stereo sessions of the 'seventies and early 'eighties.
