  5. The cd set has not yet been released or has just been released not sure which, so that may explain no reviews of that, and the LP set is even more prohibitively expensive. I have the cd set on pre-order and ordered the two volumes of Stan Getz at Zardi's to help with the postal bite, but have about three to four weeks to wait yet before one is received. Judging from the other sets of theirs I have I expect the sound quality to be the best the source would be. EDIT to add: I just got a shipping notice.

We had a tornado watch last night, we were ready to dash down into the root cellar but luckily though we had a brief gust of high wind there was no real tornado and ho harm to any structures around, and no treefalls close. We didn’t even lose power, a blessing. We srue did get rain though, tons of rain. And it’s warm this morning. Moving deeper into this box set, it’s just so full of joyous music and personality.   11. Albare “Beyond Belief” AIFI cd Some Les Paul slinging jazz feels just right right now. Interesting defect on this cd: in the seventh track there is a series of tones for about two seconds that sound like someone's incoming smart phone call alert, LOUD.

I saw a hint from Ricky Riccardi that there would be a 50th Anniversary release of the epic “Ambassador Satch” and I broke out this set to investigate what had been released . . . and decided it was time to play this set again, so I’ll sprinkle it into my rotation.   24. Jack McDuff “Ain’t No Sunshine: Live in Seattle” Reel to Real 2 cd set, disc 1 Live at The Gallery in Seattle on September 13, 1972. The band includes Leo Johnson, Dave Young, Vinnie Corrao, and Ron Davis, and an uncredited trumpeter.
