  1. Many more happy ones John!
  2. I'm pretty much along these same lines. I finally realized I'm grown up, about ten years ago, and I've cleaned up my clothing, though still keeping casual. I had a few suits and would wear them for the formal occasions, but now they don't fit! I will soon be buyng another.
  3. For God's sake if you don't have this set grab it.. . . I saved for months to buy it years and years ago and have gotten many many hours of enjoyment from the music.
  4. NOT that there's anything wrong with that!
  5. MG, many happy returns my friend!
  6. Gotta agree with Ray.
  7. I've been through a couple of those. They're hot but there's also a lot of sugar in there. You're absolutely right, awful sweet.
  8. I'm kindof partial to Jsngry. Would have used it myself if it weren't taken already!
  9. Here too. . . but Vietnamese restaurants will have hot sauce, big dispensors of it.
  10. I believe this, coming from someone "in de know." Well, in my crappy circumstances of the present, I won't care if I don't get this before Christmas. . .but it's sad to see the set share the "delay disease" of predecessors.
  11. Hey Bruce, you and me both. It's the opposite of a transition to alertness!
  12. You are some brave mofos. I am not ashamed to admit I stopped pursuing the hot sauce experiences some time back. I prefer a milder salsa. Such as this one of my very favorites (store bought, really there's nothing compared to some homemade!):
  13. That's what I received as well.
  14. I should have put a smiley in there. . . . "I get it. The "e" in dope is silent!"
  15. Well, having read the book about five times before the movie, that never occurred to me. The new version is supposed to highlight this a bit more than the original. . . .
  16. What? I heard it WAS dope!
  17. I think he means they're no longer available for him to download again from eMusic because the label pulled the seed files.
  18. A year later and I still love my A8s!
  19. I HOPE there is a 50th anniversary edition and I hope I'm around to see it. I posted about this on the dvd thread. . . .Exciting. I've been reading a lot about the making of the film and the writings reference the version mistakenly released to theaters that had some variants, and a documentary about the making of the film, and I was hoping I'd one day get to see those. . . and they'll be in the five disc set. You'll be able to purchase 2, 4 and 5 disc versions of this around Christmas.
  20. The TOCJ sounds pretty tasty to me. I don't know for sure that I have ever heard the TOCJ, but I really like the RVG.
  21. Not being at home with my collection for some time now and some time to come I can't verify Ed's count. . . but it seems quite right in all respects. It may not be a set worth pursuing Hans taking in your concern for vocals. The individual cds that Capitol has put out actually do capture the jazziest sides.
  22. No kidding. Fantastic music, almost everything on that label is fascinating to hear. Right now, Columbia Piano Jazz Moods.
  23. Didn't you play in the Eagles the year before they broke up?
  24. I'm guessing "RM" is "ReMastered" (?)
  25. I'd like to see Jukebox Ella: the Singles Vol. 2 be released soon.
