No, I got it from that Tumblr page (what is Tumblr, anyway?), and I'm on a Mac. I did leave out the step that Jim R mentioned. So my full process was: right click on the question mark, choose Open Image in New Window, which brings you to the Tumblr page. Find the photo and click on it; this brings up the larger image. Right click on the image and choose Copy Image Address (don't copy the URL at the top of the window). Paste it here using Insert other media.

Listening now again to Under A Woodstock Moon (Kokopelli). What a great record. I just get immersed in it. Lushly recorded, great arrangements (including a string quartet on some cuts, arranged by Torrie Zito), and fabulous playing by all concerned, but especially by Mr. Fathead. Try to find this one! I've just acquired my 26th & 27th Fathead records: a used vinyl copy of The Many Facets, and a live date on CD (for some reason listed on Amazon under Tilden Webb):

I'm partial to the 1982 Ronnie Scott's date that resulted in 3 Pablo albums: A London Bridge, Memories of Thelonious Sphere Monk, and Mostly Duke. And while there are no bad Milt Jackson records, I'd nonetheless...sidestep those where he sings, such as 1978's Soul Believer (also Pablo).

I was thinking of getting the set until I compared the discography to what I already owned and found I had most of it. Basically just missing some Allen Eager stuff.

There could be an interesting Mosaic box made from Bags' last records on MusicMasters, Qwest, East-West, Warner Bros., and wherever else. The compositions might be playing it a bit safe, but like Jim says...

Listening now to 2/5/66, the first concert on the tour and an audience tape. I've certainly heard worse sound quality on Dylan boots, and it's an interesting experience to hear the perspective from the seats in 1966! It's cool to hear the audience "getting" Dylan, laughing at all the right places. I can't imagine lugging a reel to reel recorder and smuggling it into the concert, but how else would we hear an almost 11 minute version of Desolation Row intact? Most intriguing is Tell Me, Momma, which seems to have different lyrics, though it's hard to tell what they are through the audio murk.
