a CD I quite like and I like more and more the more I listen to it. And they're both on it. Lafitte was quite influenced by Coleman Hawkins I think, and that's something I like.

Lenny Kravitz's first two albums were really good. Afterwards it all started to go downwards, until he was only a joke of himself. I really love Mama Said, his second album. From the cover to the songs.
Perhaps my favorite Select. The outstanding session IMO is The Street Swingers with Jim Hall (my favorite guitarist) and Jimmy Raney. But Hall is also all over the rest.
