  1. Great pics there.
  2. One of my fave Mosaics. Not only for Peterson, but also for Kessel. He's, together with Jim Hall and Tal Farlow, one of my favorite guitarists.
  3. With what an overload of great sidemen throughout!
  4. Yesterday I was listening to a CD I quite like and I like more and more the more I listen to it. And they're both on it. Lafitte was quite influenced by Coleman Hawkins I think, and that's something I like.
  5. Yes, a great one.
  6. If you want to hear a version of My funny valentine, here it is. With Wendell Marshall on bass and Paul Motian, drums. I think I have that album as a standalone CD. From Freshsound, maybe.
  7. Perhaps my favourite Select. Early Pepper.
  8. Here too. Hope it gets done.
  9. I've worked with Mp3tag over many years and can only say it's a very good editor.
  10. I much like Wade Legge on that one.
  11. Do you still have the Selects of Curtis Amy, Carmell Jones and Bud Shank/Bob Cooper? If so I would get the three of them.
  12. Very nice. And I'm surprised to see a Jean-Pierre Leloir picture as the cover for the second LP included here. A Columbia.
  13. Lenny Kravitz's first two albums were really good. Afterwards it all started to go downwards, until he was only a joke of himself. I really love Mama Said, his second album. From the cover to the songs.
  14. From the domestic LPR series. Papersleeves made in the UE.
  15. Perhaps my favorite Select. The outstanding session IMO is The Street Swingers with Jim Hall (my favorite guitarist) and Jimmy Raney. But Hall is also all over the rest.
  16. Thanks. But then how about the III?
  17. A terrific set. But one question, is the featured Grachan Moncur on bass on a couple of sessions a relative of Grachan Moncur III?
  18. Surprised to find Freddie Greene here.
