  1. Then I will have to pick it up. If I don't have it already.
  2. I love that cover. Although I think I have it with a different cover, it was also a Vogue and piano solo (I speak from memory. Will have to check the dates).
  3. I'll take the Chuck Wayne. PM sent.
  4. From my beloved 10" series. A series devoted to the prehardbop 5000 series from BN. Those famous New faces, new sounds albums.
  5. An album I like a lot, recorded in Italy in 1962. With top musicians backing him: Bobby Jaspar and Rene Thomas to name only two.
  6. Thanks for that piece of info. Will have to pursue it when possible.
  7. I have that one and like Rene Thomas and I also like Chuck Wayne, but find the album a bit overloaded with horns.
  8. Good title for a guitar album. Plus Wayne is sporting (and I assume also playing), I think, the same guitar I play, on the cover. A D'Angelico Excel archtop. But the album is not so good.
  9. I'm not into the with strings concept, but I like the with strings Charlie Parker sessions here.
  10. I have that one and like it a lot. Plus also Jutta Hipp, who was also mentioned.
  11. Recently aquired. I got it from Jazz Messengers, the store, because on my previous order from Mosaic I was charged a customs fee, which I never had before. I don´t know why that is so, but I suspect, as someone here pointed out, it may have to do with their declaring the product value.
  12. I'm enjoying hearing him again and with Coltrane and Donald Byrd.
  13. Thanks for the tip. I picked it up and am really enjoying it, with Art Pepper and company.
  14. I used to use it heavily (even had one printed version) but still use it nowadays. Although mostly from my phone. I had a time when I ignored it but I'm back going to it sometimes.
  15. A nice private set from my beloved Farlow, together with his fabulous trio. Eddie Costa on piano and Vinnie Burke on bass.
  16. This is also available from Freshsound on a series of CDs for I don't know right now how much.
  17. Agreed. I paid more too. Don't know how much, but it's very good. There are the ultraphone sessions (some of the first recordings he did), different airchecks (one with a US Air Force band) and more.
