  1. Tomorrow night: Harold Mabern and Eric Alexander.
  2. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do, but for a shorter price point.
  3. I gave the Vogue CD reissue I have from 96 a relisten. And although the main cover, which features a Leloir pic, is different, the original cover is reproduced inside the digipack. Although it is credited to one Francis Wolfe. Well, the picture of Monk. And I wonder if it is Francis Wolff. It could be possible.
  4. Then I will have to pick it up. If I don't have it already.
  5. I love that cover. Although I think I have it with a different cover, it was also a Vogue and piano solo (I speak from memory. Will have to check the dates).
  6. I'll take the Chuck Wayne. PM sent.
  7. From my beloved 10" series. A series devoted to the prehardbop 5000 series from BN. Those famous New faces, new sounds albums.
  8. An album I like a lot, recorded in Italy in 1962. With top musicians backing him: Bobby Jaspar and Rene Thomas to name only two.
  9. Thanks for that piece of info. Will have to pursue it when possible.
  10. I have that one and like Rene Thomas and I also like Chuck Wayne, but find the album a bit overloaded with horns.
  11. Good title for a guitar album. Plus Wayne is sporting (and I assume also playing), I think, the same guitar I play, on the cover. A D'Angelico Excel archtop. But the album is not so good.
  12. I'm not into the with strings concept, but I like the with strings Charlie Parker sessions here.
  13. I have that one and like it a lot. Plus also Jutta Hipp, who was also mentioned.
  14. Recently aquired. I got it from Jazz Messengers, the store, because on my previous order from Mosaic I was charged a customs fee, which I never had before. I don´t know why that is so, but I suspect, as someone here pointed out, it may have to do with their declaring the product value.
  15. I'm enjoying hearing him again and with Coltrane and Donald Byrd.
  16. Thanks for the tip. I picked it up and am really enjoying it, with Art Pepper and company.
