  1. Anyone have experience with loopers? I have been looking at the BOSS RC-2, but keep hearing that I should stay away from a single-pedal looper - too complicated. So, that leads me to the BOSS RC-20XL and the DigiTech JamMan - both bigger and more expensive than I was looking for. I'm conFUSED.
  2. yeah........WTF??!?
  3. OK.........I succumbed. I've always wanted this set anyway. I think you will find much to enjoy! I feel better already!

  5. Same from ME (I'm SURE you know what I'm talking about).
  6. There are a lot of rumors flying that these labels will be showing up on eMusic in the near future.
  7. OK.........I succumbed. I've always wanted this set anyway. You won't regret it. My fav Select with the Hill sets. I have vinyl of "Destination Out!" and "Evolution", so I have a good idea what I'm getting. Will be nice to have it on CD in one set.

  9. He was quite delusional about global warming, though. Spent quite a bit of time the last few years speaking about there being no truth to it.

  18. Whatever happened to Live Chat? Where's the crew? Free, Conn, Agg, Noj, Barak, ... ?
  19. Monday @ Yoshi's: Larry Goldings Trio w/Peter Bernstein, Bill Stewart
  20. Don't know Elderly.......are they good? I Googled their website, they seem to have lots of stuff.
  21. Jorma wasn't a member of SVT. Obviously the concert was so loud it effected my memory too....

  23. The Patti Smith show was very good. She's not even on tour, but was travelling back from Australia with her band and wanted to do an Arthur Rimbaud birthday celebration, so she booked the date. Did 2 hours + 1/2 hour encore. Very entertaining.
  24. Forgot about Mahavishnu. I'm sure those concerts I saw were EXTREMELY loud for their time. More recently I've seen Radio Birdman a couple of times in club situations, and those shows were pretty ear-bleeding (although I was definitely wearing ear plugs).
  25. Tomorrow (Monday, 10/20) - Patti Smith at the recently renovated Warfield Theater, here in SF. She always puts on a good show, IMO.
