  1. WTF? B)
  2. Can you say "woodchuck"?
  3. Another vote for "Sucking" as a good 70's compilation. "Everything Is Turning To Gold" is on it. Was a b-side only. It's also on that limited edition "Collectables" that was coupled with "Flashpoint".
  4. Medjuck, What are all the gray boxes on the right? Multiple copies of the Bill Evans Fantasy set? B) Seriously...
  5. Now that's fu*king funny! B)
  6. Thanks Claude; didn't know about a dual-layered KOB.
  7. I stuck up for ya Evan! I'm vote #2 for Goats Head Soup. I'm kinda burnt on the others. Goats Head Soup is super diverse too. All over the place. B) I like "Heartbreaker" "Dancing With Mr. D" "Silver Train". The bassline on "Silver Train" is DEEP! Oh yeah, and "Star, fuck a Star, fuck a Star, fuck a Star, fuck a Star"!
  8. That sounds cool. Would love to hear that! Glad yer gig went well. Thanks for sharing the story. B)
  9. I gotta get that T/K/M set!!! How much blood would I have to sell?
  10. That's a desecration!
  11. RDK: I'm NEVER lending you any cds!
  12. Chris Olivarez, Howdy Chris! It got to the mid-80's in Denver yesterday. Supposed to be warm all weekend too. I was gonna go ski today, but it's just gonna be crap! Ice in the morning; mashed potatoes in the afternoon. No thanks! I've gotta ton of stuff to do around the house and office. Shit, I'm getting old...
  13. Gave away the '97 cd to someone; hoping to turn them on to jazz. I've got the MC SACD (umm, there is no hybrid version of this SACD, as mentioned above). The Miles/Trane box. My favorite? The SACD, of course. I like different things about the stereo and multichannel mixes. "Blue In Green" is my favorite. What a mood! If you could bottle that, that'd be a big seller. Damn Miles, stealing credit for Bill Evans' tune... P.S. Am I the only one that thinks that "Flamenco Sketches" is a ripoff of "Peace Piece"?
  14. Didn't see a Roland Kirk set though... P.S. There ain't one in my collection either!
  15. Thanks for the compliments gang! The unit on the leftmost of the pic actually goes up twice as high as what you can see. Couw-boy: The units with the big gaps came that way. They were left by the previous owner of the house my in-laws moved into a few months back. If you guys think I'm tidy, check out Claude's pics! Now that's supa-dupa sweet looking! All my stuff was done on the cheap/free/discards. I often fantasize about doing a custom-built unit with nice wood, built-in lighting and display shelves. Someday!
  16. Here's mine. It gets messy sometimes, plus I have a bunch in boxes...
  17. Umm, yeah, what Tom said...
  18. And if this TOCJ was dubbed from an LP, I sure can't tell! Sounds top notch.
  19. I'd definitely call this one a favorite. I have the TOCJ. Always gets the toes a'tappin'. It also kinda has that Austin Powers, Swinging London in the 60's feel about it.
  20. Have a great day, Big Guy! Always enjoy your posts. B)
  21. That would be Queens Of The Stone Age with their album Songs For The Deaf. I heard they just broke up. That was a cool, twisted video.
  22. One of the discs on Keith Jarrett's "Rarum: Selected Recordings" is exactly 80:00 mins long. Making a copy was tricky, but successful after it warned me about overburning... Anyone ever try the 99 minute cdrs? My recorder wouldn't recognize them as anything more than 80 minutes.
  23. Oh look, a baby deer...
