I dug him. 👍 Does this "other Bootsie" show up on any other records? in addition to what you directly see on discogs (not much, but also not nothing), he's on at least two Papa John deFrancesco albums, Comin' Home and Hip Cake Walk... HutchFan Posted August 18, 2020 Report Posted August 18, 2020 Like many people, I'm working from home every day instead of going to an office. Before the pandemic, I worked from home just one day per week. One "side effect" of that situation: I can listen to LPs each day while I'm working. One very small silver lining on an otherwise dark and terrible cloud. Quote
HutchFan Posted August 18, 2020 Report Posted August 18, 2020 Now spinning: Jimmy Heath - Love and Understanding (Muse, 1973) Deliciously groovy and musical. Nothing earth-shattering, but it's plenty nourishing regardless. Quote

sidewinder Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 Theresa 2LP. Again, sounding excellent after a clean. Quote

Rabshakeh Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 I always had a soft spot for that Pharoah record. One of the first LPs I bought. Quote

I don't think it's legit, if you are referring to the 2012 CD. Much of their stuff is 'unofficial.' Quote
