I had trouble with the vocals. Perhaps I should revisit it and give it another try. Edited October 5, 2023 by Pim Quote

It does @mjazzg and @HutchFan are mostly like minded in jazz with me and a pretty good reference in what I like and not so when they like something and I don’t I start doubting myself… now spinning : Intense stuff. One of his jewels on Milestone. Great sound by the way Quote

Meanwhile, playing now Anthony Braxton - New York, Fall 1974 [Arista, 1975] This is such a very great album, blew me away when I first heard it and it still sounds vital today. What a quartet. On the other hand, it's fun & healthy to challenge your ears to hear new things. Movement, growth, and all that. A bit of a contradiction! Quote

I’ve learned to like a lot of music by keep playing it. Sometimes you just never reach that point where it works out for you, but a lot of times you do. My shelves are full with music by artists I did not really appreciate at first. Among them are Horace Tapscott, Jackie McLean, Sam Rivers and Wayne Shorter. I wouldn’t want to live without them now! Works really well, enough music to make it not just poetry and enough poetry to command attention. Completely new to me, punt from HJ. Some short samples on their site And only 30 minutes long so doesn't overstay its welcome. There's another just been reissued which I may go for now Quote
