It is Graillier. It is a common mistake, even for French folks, to forget the second i after a double l, as it would pronounce basically the same. I remember in Junior high our French teacher challenging us to make less than 3 mistakes to a 15-word dicatation (of the type "Un chasseur qui bayait aux corneilles tira un levraut derrière un groseillier : quelle imbécillité !") and everibody failed.

Jazz from the Westchester Workshop, London Records 1957. Recent buy for a tenner. A minor masterpiece, in a birth of the cool style. Carmen Leggio, tenor. Eddie Bert, trombone, Gen Allen, baritone, the only names known to me. Vinnie Riccitelli, composer, arranger and alto. A marvellous sounding recording by ‘Unique, New York’. No details of the recording engineer on my UK issue.

If you read his Wiki entry, his downward career path was probably due to his addictions, rather than bad luck. He died at 38 from cirrhosis.
