Returning to RCA, I also treasure the big band albums Blues Express and Portrait of Shorty, bought in the 80s. Quote

brownie Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 That French RCA JazzLine Shorty Rogers, vol. 2 'The Rarest Shorty Rogers' is the LP with two of the tracks recorded as by Boots Brown & his Blockbusters (Rogers, Bernhardt, Shank, Giuffre, Mulligan, etc...) that don't seem to have ben reissued since!
