I’ve learned to like a lot of music by keep playing it. Sometimes you just never reach that point where it works out for you, but a lot of times you do. My shelves are full with music by artists I did not really appreciate at first. Among them are Horace Tapscott, Jackie McLean, Sam Rivers and Wayne Shorter. I wouldn’t want to live without them now! Sorry, not for me @Pim mind you I did come to that conclusion about 20 years ago so maybe I should give it another try I know I'm in a very small minority but I find the Tyner Milestones lack light and shade, they are all a bit full on and overly robust, almost as if they're trying to prove something. But I should revisit.
