HutchFan Posted December 17, 2023 Report Share Posted December 17, 2023 Now spinning on my turntable: Baden Powell Quartet, Vol. 3 (Barclay FR, 1971) This LP arrived in the mail yesterday, and I just gave it thorough cleaning on my record cleaning machine. The music, AQ, and record condition are all TOP-SHELF. Beautiful. And the LP only cost me $5 on eBay. Quite a score! I think this band -- with Ernesto Ribeiro Gonçalves (b), Helio Schiavo (d), Alfredo Bessa (perc, vo) and Janine de Waleyne contributing occasional vocals -- is one of the finest supporting groups that Powell ever had.
