It’s recommended - fine big band recording directed by Neil Ardley and with strong Gil Evans influence. See my comments on the other thread concerning sound - likely better than the original LP (which was in mono).

I don't think so. It says "recorded at Victoria Theatre, London" and I saw them at the Dominion, Tottenham Court Road, London.

Clearly they were in London for a day or two - enough for Monk to make those Black Lion albums.
