The Magnificent Goldberg Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 Jimmie Lunceford Decca - disc 7 I'm toying with the idea of getting this, but I've got a 4 disc Quadromania set. Crap package, probably crap sound, too, but loads of good music. WHat do you think of this box, Jeff? MG Quote

Fred Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 The Complete Art Hodes Blue Note Session, just arrived: CDs #1 and #2. Good music, a lot of polyphonic blues, not only mere Dixieland, as I thought. Quote

bardicplanet Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Classic Chu Berry Columbia and Victor Sessions-Discs 1 & 2. What a team Berry and Eldridge made! This set makes you realize the true mening of the phrase "unsung hero". Chu Berry sparked enogh sessions to last this listener for a lifetime of enjoyment. As always the Mosaic audio quality is a significant improvement over what I've heard previously and the liner notes are masterfully packed with information. Quote
