That's what I've read. Guess Jackie srapped the date because of Norman Conners. On the other hand, I have no problem, I am full speed ahead.

Not a huge fan of Ornette on trumpet, but I feel he was an equal contributor on this record. A real treat.

I didn't create the artwork, but I think a member of this board did. (I can't remember who.) The image has been floating around the internet for a while. I agree that it's excellent.

I'll have to pull my cdr of that session out. In my recollection, it's neither as bad as Cuscuna made it out to be, nor necessarily as good as what did come out around that time.

I regret not knowing how to even be part of the secret society that has heard even the sessions that do "get around", such as the Train Wreck, and I guess the Wayne produced by Pearson. 🤔

I stand corrected! I had this confused for the Train Wreck session, definitely do not have a copy.

I figured! This is one that has eluded even the secret society. I think the tape was lost before Belden was at Blue Note where he promptly copied everything and circulated it all to the secret society.
