Tim McG Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Cost me $50 bucks to fill-up my Toyota truck yesterday. $3.75 in my neck o'the woods. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 $3.25 in Lansing. Exxon-Mobil must need new ivory backscratchers for the men's rooms. Quote

catesta Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 at the frys / kroger grocery store you get a 10 cent discount with $100 in groceries so i filled up at $2.83 a gallon I bet you originally only went to the store for a gallon of milk and some Slim Jims. That was the plan until the clerk said, "only $96.00 from saving 10 cents a gallon"! They get you either way. Quote
zen archer Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 i guess it depends on state taxes how much it will be ,last summer my wife and i drove down to Memphis for vacation and we couldn't believe how cheap gas was in the south. When we left Boston it was around $3.20 and in Virginia $2.68/ $2.61 in some spots. Quote
catesta Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 My business fuel bill for April was 12% higher in April than it was in March and we consumed about 120 gallons less overall. Quote

Unk Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 Paid $4.249 today for mid-grade. Low grade was a mere $4.099. Holy shit... Actually, I'm glad I tanked up yesterday. Today, the lowest price within 10 miles (according to AAA) is $4.25 for 'regular'. I'd be pushing four-and-a-half for mid-grade. Ah, Northern California... AAA Quote

Quincy Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 (edited) It's been hovering around $3.41 for the past five days here in Lansing. That's what I paid yesterday. Just got $20 worth. Article in the paper about how the feds need to raise the gas tax for roads but are too chicken to do so. Pay less on gas, pay more in auto repairs from driving on damaged roads... Tim McG Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Lucky pup. You know on the news the other night they were saying gas hit an alltime record high of $3.30 per gallon. My wife and I looked at each other and said who are they surveying for that one? $3.59 today. Quote

My wife and I looked at each other and said who are they surveying for that one? $3.59 today. It's an average. Ours locally is $2.99 as well. Though it's gonna get worse before it gets better, unfortunately. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Ours went from 2.99 to 3.06 today, but after seeing how others are doing, I just don't have the nerve to complain... Quote
MoGrubb Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 If there's one bright spot I noticed that diesel was actually cheaper than reg at one station down here in paradise. And the last time I bought K-1 it was more expensive than reg gas. Go figure... Personally I think management(gov "control") is screwing us over. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Haven't been out today, but my wife says it's up to $3.61 now. 20 cents in the past 3 hours. That makes a whole lotta sense. Quote

I noticed that too at one local station here in the UK. I've never known diesel to be cheaper than unleaded ! (at least not within the last 20+ years). After driving diesel for the past 10 years I change over to unleaded next month. Talk about timing.. Quote
Tim McG Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 My friends in San Francisco tell me it's more than $4.00 bucks a gallon now. Yeow! Quote
