jazzbo Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Just finished "Daredevil--Born Again" Season 2. Nice, wishful-thinking-to-the-situation-now ending. Quote

Recently watched the first season as they put it on Hulu. Very Law & Order-esque (a good thing!), only with superheroes and villains. Not as refined as Wonder Man (to compare to another Marvel series), and shockingly violent at times. I don't remember Daredevil taking that many blades and gunshots and shaking them off in the comics. but then again I haven't read those in decades. Quote
jazzbo Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) Daredevil is my favorite of the TV series from Marvel, the seasons before "Born Again" were very good, and I think the second season of "Born Again" was excellent in how it mirrored current events in America. . . and ended more optimistically than we are likely to see happen in the near future. the violence is a bit extreme but that is part of the nature of the content, and I like that it is not shied away from. The series is well filmed. I've seen about a half an hour of "Wonder Man" so far. Gues it gets better. Edited May 14 by jazzbo Quote
Brad Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I subscribe to MHZ and recently watched both seasons of The Fallen. Big Sofia Helin fan. I’m now watching a Danish series, The Killing (season 1). Quote

My favorite Marvel series too, though I don't have Disney + and haven't been able to watch the new season. Just finished "The Boys" season finale. I've enjoyed that series a lot. I don't think anyone ever had so much fun in a role as Karl Urban did playing Billy Butcher! Quote
jazzbo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'm two series behind on that. . . may not continue. Quote
