Have You Seen This Man??

Recommended Posts

I don't think cookies are the reason child obesity is on the rise. Maybe it has something to do with letting kids under two eat french fries, pop, etc. on a regular basis.

I've seen it more than I care to admit.

add to that the fact that kids are now practically encouraged to not go outside and play anymore. When I was a kid, atari was fun and all (I know, I'm dating myself), but it was still more fun in the long run to go out and play baseball or football, and you were cool if you were in Karate lessons. Now kids just want to attatch themselves to their computers and play video games all day.

If you're just gonna sit around all day, you're gonna get fat, french fries or not.

1. The boob tube is not a baby sitter

2. Video games make for lazy kids

3. Cold cereal is better than McDonald's, and kids will eat it gladly

4. Parents who read to their kids give their kids a head start on school

5. Start kids with sports early, and he or she will pick a favorite

If I ever have kids of my own, I intend to keep these things in mind.

mcdonalds now offers apple slices as an alternative to fries in their "happy meals".

Too late for these kids...

This should be construed as child abuse. The "parents" of these poor kids are basically dooming them to a lifetime of health problems, not to mention the psychological and self-esteem issues.

The more I think about it, the angrier I get.
