Aggie87
I've been surfing videos at youtube.com over the past few days, having recently discovered them. There are some interesting things there, both musically and otherwise. This one is a fun blast from the past: Herbie Hancock - Rockit live in 1984 And here's an interesting Monk video... Thelonious Monk 1966 Anybody else find any noteworthy there?
jazzbo
A few nice Grateful Dead videos. . . including the Playboy after Dark. There are some other Playboy after Dark videos on there too that I haven't checked out yet.
jazzbo
There is a very nice (if badly synched) Elis Regina vidoe of "Aquas de Mars" (mistitled I think). Hottie Airlines is fun.

DatDere
There's also a clip of Emerson Lake and Palmer playing 'Blue Rondo a la Turk'. Sound seems to be a bit out of synch, though... Also lots of other 70s prog rock: Van der Graaf Generator, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Zappa, etc. Edited January 15, 2006 by DatDere

Rooster_Ties
I don't claim ANY of these are particularly great (or even good). Just things I just stumbled on that I'd never seen before. The Move (with Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne) - California Man live on TOTP in 1972 Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters - Chameleon live in Chicago in1974 (w/ Paul Jackson, Bennie Maupin, Mike Clark and Bill Summers) Pink Floyd - Animals TV commercial The Who - Heaven & Hell live, Tanglewood 1970 Pink Floyd - Cymbaline... (live circa very early 70's?) Pink Floyd - Breathe and Money Live 8 Rehearsals part 1 More in a bit...
Big Wheel
Oh man...definitely psyched to see all those old clips of MTV's The State on there.
Dan Gould
A few nice Grateful Dead videos. . . including the Playboy after Dark. There are some other Playboy after Dark videos on there too that I haven't checked out yet. I missed this thread originally but learned about the site last week when it was written up in the NYT. Anyway, if you search by B.B. King, there's a two-song Playboy After Dark appearance. Best of all, my audio software allowed me to record the download as it played, so I added it to a compilation disc I've made of rarely heard/seen B.B. AllenLowe
I love the Hound Dog Taylor - also a VERY interesting clip of the Rolling Stones live in 1969 in which, on Honky Tonk Woman, they nearly double the tempo during the tune - so much for the vaunted RS rhythm section -
Ron S
Speaking of the Stones, someone's already put this up, in case you didn't catch them at the Super Bowl last night. EDIT: And here is the full half-time show with French commentary! Edited February 6, 2006 by Ron S
Jim Alfredson
Man, there's some crazy stuff on there. Anyone know how to save the movies? I've been reading a bit about it... seems like they are .flv files. Anyway, here's some hilarious Genesis stuff for you prog heads: Genesis - The Musical Box Genesis - Return of the Giant Hogweed
